7 DAY Central Mongolia and Gobi

Ugii lake Ugii lake, locates on the centre of Mongolia, in the territory, of the Arkhangai province is one of the biggest lakes of Mongolia and has 27 km squire area. Average depth is 6.64m, in some sections 15.3m, coastal length is 23.5m. Delicate sand and whetstone coast, the soft wave and it is very convenient to have boat adventure . This place is great for a fishing and bird watching , 1 Hour Horse trekking next to Lake .Overnight in a Nomad Family

Day 1

BAGA GAZRIIN CHULUU

We will start our tour after early breakfast in a Tourist camp . Baga Gazriin chuluu–located in Delgertsogt soum, Dundgovi province and surrounded by plain. The highest one is 15 km long and 10 km wide granite stone-mountain elevated at 1768m above sea level. There are also over 20 kinds of medical herbs like burnet, many kinds of world rare animals like marmot, ibex and mountain sheep. Also you can see Bolort Cave, eye treatment spa, rock images, petro glyphs, burial mounds many other sightseeing. There is a ruin of Choir monastery which was established by “Zaya” Damdin, a famous ancient historical, religious and scientific researcher. On the way we will stop for a lunch next to Zorgol Khairkhan Mountain . It will be great to have a lunch next to beautiful nature scene and then we will continue to drive to fist Gobi area campsite of our trip . Overnight stay in Nomad ger.

Day 2

DRIVE TO TSAGAAN SUVARGA

After having a breakfast and pack all camping stuff we will drive to Tsagaan Suvraga / White Stupa / Also Tsagaan Suvarga(White Stupa) is located in Ulziit Soum, Dundgobi aimag. The name Tsagaan Suvarga(White Stupa)is given by local people to the impressive and legendary cliff which is eroded by natural phenomenon. Having 10 million years history, the cliff indicates different times by its colored layers. Tsagaan Suvarga(White Stupa)is interesting to see the sheer slope, facing east, which from a distance seems to be the ruins of the ancient city.Stay overnight in a Nomad family ,T

his is real chance to get to know about a nomad life also be a part of it.

DAY 3

Ongi monastery which situates a border of Gobi and Central Mongolia. we will drive to Saikhan Ovoo which is a small village in the Middle Gobi province. Ongiin khiid (also referred as Ongi Monastery ruins) is a active small monastery with a temple which was built on the ruins of a monastery complex that was formerly one of the largest monasteries in Mongolia and founded in 1760 and consisted of two separate tempes complexes, Barlim khiid and Khutagt khiid, on the North and South of the Ongi Gol river about 18 km from Saikhan-Ovoo sub-provincial center, Dungobi province.)After seeing sightseeing of a Ongiin khiid overnight stay in camp .

DAY 4

DRIVE TO THE OlD CAPITAL CITY KHARKHORIN

Karakorum was the capital of Great Mongolia Empire in thirteenth century.

It is located on the right bank of Orkhon river, Also  400 km south-west of Ulaanbaatar which is the current capital of Mongolia.

In 1380, Karakorum was destroyed. But approximately two centuries later, on the same site, there arose the yurt of Avtai Khan, founder of the Erdene Zuu Monastery. Kharkorin city is full of sightseeing and historical spots . O

Visit Orkhon valley waterfall

Water fall Very close to the Orkhon the Ulaan Tsutgalan river features a waterfall, ten meters wide and twenty meters high. The waterfall is a popular destination for tourists . This is most famous area for tourist and local travelers . Nomad Ger Guest accommodation

Drive to Elsen tasarkhai sand dune

Hugnu khan national park is one the best place for a ride a camel.
